Guest lecturer James Westland will lead us on a virtual walk on the island of Mull, which takes in geology that is of global importance. We will visit the Loch Bà Ring Dyke in fine hill scenery in central Mull. This is a chance to see a remarkable geological feature that has shaped our understanding of the science of geology and learn about large volcanic eruptions and caldera collapse.
